A Marriage Story..

i read a lot about this misconcept (the marriage of Prophet Muhammad From Aisha) ... a false claim about the Prophet Peace Be upon him like always..and because of this i made this note..
i hope In sha Allah for it to be Helpful..

Now.. When do people Marry? at what age? Usually people Marry after they finish their studies because its hard to study and getting married at the same time.so for that Girls in Urbans they get married at age of 22 or 23 after finishing the university, what about the girls in the villages? or who doesn't go to school? of course for those girls who doesn't got to school or who have finished the high school they probably would get married at age of 18! so what was the situation when there was no schools or universities? what would Girls do? they would get married as soon as they reach Puberty! yet in our mean time a girl in the age of 13 can get married (with her parental permission) check: http://www.sos.nh.gov/vitalrecords/P...s/MARRIAGE.PDF 1- in Texas the Minimum with the parental permission in the age of 14 Check:http://statelaws.findlaw.com/texas-l...ents-laws.html 2- In Missouri at age of 15: http://statelaws.findlaw.com/missour...ents-laws.html 3- In Mississippi at age of 15 for females and 17 for males check:http://statelaws.findlaw.com/mississ...ents-laws.html 4- Also in spain until 1995 the legal age for girls to marry is 12 years old now its 16 5- In Canada 100 years ago the legal age for marriage was 11 years old for females so.. what would you say on those people? its really unfair to judge people from the past with our traditions and laws in the present, you have to judge people if they were doing something wrong or not according to their own laws and traditions in their sociaties. and to prove that the young marriage of girls in the Arabic Penninsula was widespread I can sort many examples.. the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) wasn't the first man who proposed to marry Aisha, She was engaged in the age of 6 to another man called Jubair Ibn Muta'm Ibn Adey. Also one of the prophet's (peace be upon him) wifes were Safiah Bin Huyay Ibn Al-Akhtab the daughter of one of the great Jewish tribes leaders He (peace be upon him) married her when she was 14, and He (peace be upon him) was her "Third Husband" the question now is.. what was her age when she got married to her first husband? Maybe.. Ten? Nine? or Eleven! so even the jews back then were giving their daughters for marriage in young ages.. ======== Alright.. you will know that the prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) married Lady Aisha in the age of 6, but he didn't got into any intercourse with her until she reached 9 years!the question here is.. if he is a "PEDOHILE" or a "CHILD MOLESTER" why did he wait that much of time to have intercours with her after 3 years? the Answer is simple and clear.. it's "PUBERTY".some people would say.. "who said that a girl can marry when she reach Puberty?" From the Encyclopedia Britannica [http://global.britannica.com/EBcheck...82269/puberty] it says:"puberty, in human physiology, the stage or period of life when a child transforms into an adult normally capable of procreation."in the year 1184 Margaret of Hungary got married from Isaac II Angelos when she was only 9 years old.. ----------------------------------- One more thing.. did the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him had enemies? Yes there're, and they were more then his friends but with the word of Allah the Almighty Lord he successed in creating the greatest nation in the world..you would see the Hypocrites in "Al-Madina" (the city of the prophet) were his enemies as well as pagans and jews of arabia were his enemies.. and you will find that all of them tried by all means to tarnish his image.. but they never ever said that he was a "PEDOPHILE" or a "CHILD MOLESTER" a big question here.. which is "WHY?" did they forget? of course not! that would be the best way to hurt him and torture that new-born religionbut we see that they didn't! WHY? because this thing was normal for girl to get married at that time.
