De l'urine pour nos médicaments ?
(MFI) L'urine de vache distillée permettrait d'augmenter l'efficacité des médicaments, de diminuer les doses tout en réduisant leurs effets secondaires, peut-on lire ce mois-ci dans la revue anglaise Chemistry and Industry. Selon les chercheurs indiens qui ont découvert cette propriété de l'urine, l'efficacité d'un anti-cancéreux et d'un anti-tuberculeux pourrait être ainsi multipliée par 20 et celle d'antibactériens jusqu'à 80 fois.
Cette invention a des implications directes sur une réduction drastique des dosages en augmentant l'absorption des molécules. Cela réduirait donc les coûts des traitements ainsi que leurs effets secondaires. Selon les chercheurs qui ont jusqu'à présent travaillé sur l'urine de vache, celle du buffle, du chameau, du cerf ou du daim ferait aussi bien l'affaire.
